How to Get Perfect Abs Naturally (abs abdominal)

If you want to get perfect abs like the models you see in magazines like Mens Fitness without using diet pills or ab machines then you must be willing to work hard. But be clear that using ab machines or supplements will not bring results any faster if you do not have the right diet and exercise program. Follow these tips to get perfect abs.

1) Clean up your diet. I know you probably hear it all the time but you cannot afford to eat junk food all the time and expect to get perfect abs. Eat clean natural foods like lean meats, fruits, vegetables, and nuts 90% of the time. Some great foods to choose from include...

  • Blueberries
  • Milk
  • Canadian Bacon
  • Eggs
  • Oranges
  • Oatmeal
  • Red Grapes
  • Cottage Cheese

2) Eat 5-6 small meals a day. This is not set in stone but if you eat about every 3 hours then you will avoid hunger while staying full and energized to carry on with the day. Many people find that doing this is inconvenient so I would suggest preparing your meals first thing in the morning and taking healthy snacks to work, school, or where ever you go.

3) Eat junk food. Yes you can have some junk food in your diet. About 10% of the time is fine. If you eat 5 meals a day then you can have 3 cheat meals each week. This actually promotes fat loss. Not only that but you will not get cravings.

4) Limit carbs. Eat starchy carbs like bread, oatmeal, and rice after a workout only. Even if they are whole wheat they still are stored in the body as fat. Get your carbs from fruits and vegetables which are loaded with them but are not calorie dense like starchy carbs are.

5) Focus on doing compound exercises. Exercises like squats, deadlifts, rows, and chest presses burn loads of calories while just doing ab exercises will limit your results. If you want to get perfect abs then working more than one muscle group at a time will build muscle all over and really sculpt your abs out.

7) Then do effective ab exercises. Some great exercises that target your abs are reverse crunches and sit ups on an exercise ball. They target your abs without putting any strain on your back and neck as long as you do them correctly.

8) Add cardio. On your days off from doing your full body workouts you can really speed up your fat loss around your abs by running or doing whatever kind of cardio you prefer. You can jump rope, jog, and even hit a heavy bag. High intensity interval training is a very effective way to lose fat.

The way it is done is by first warming up for 5 minutes like you normally do and then work at an intense pace for about 30 seconds and then go back to a steady pace for a minute and a half to catch your breath. Doing 4-7 of these intervals at each workout will save you time and drastically increase your fat loss.
